Love my 21dk tub! So much room to take a shower! I wish they would make the 21ss with one.

I wish they would make the tub as an option for their campers.

The reality is that, from campers this size, you have to give up something.

For us, kitchen counter space was a priority. But this is a rarity in trailers this size.
For those with kids, a tub is a priority.
To get either, you sacrifice something somewhere else.

Another reason for the tub

I wanted a tub too. No children but I do have a 50-60lb dog that will be traveling with me. I hope to pick up a FR Avenger 14RB on Monday. I especially like the tub because we (dog and I) plan on living in it full time. As small as it is the tub will still come in handy when the dog needs a bath. In those close living quarters you will notice the smell of a dirty dog! Wish I could have gotten a bigger unit but time is of the essence at this time. A roof over my head--even if only 14'--is better than no roof. I also got the couch on one side which gives us a little more room during wet, rainy days when we are stuck inside.

I think most campers just do not want the tub. I rarely see them in units.

Another benefit of the tub...the shelves are actually useful. Compared to the corner units I can actually set shampoo, etc. on the surround shelves. The non- tub version seems just decorative.

Yes very true....and to be honest I would give up the bathroom sink over the tub....got another sink 3 steps away. the length of the tub give a few more inches for my fat butt on the john too.

I continue to be impressed by the bathroom in the tub models as I get more time in there. As a beer enthusiast, I am getting plenty of time in there.

That long counter is proving so valuable for everyone to have some individual space and I love the counter under the counter. It is so perfect for extra rolls of TP, etc.

I realize none of this is specific to the tub vs shower, but rather the tub version bathroom vs the shower version bathroom. The bathroom layout is probably lower on the list of priorities for most people but for me it is actually very valuable for keeping everything organized and practical.
