Sam, remember that the AMP button must be "in" (green light on) to use the exterior antenna (the digital signal is MUCH improved) and "OUT" (off - green light off) to use the cable connection on the outside of the camper. If you try to get cable reception and its bad or non-existent check to make sure you plugged the cable into the F connector outside that says "cable" and not "SAT." The SAT cable goes directly to the upper F connector ONLY. No where else.
Don't forget to use the setup option on your TV to scan for channels every time you stop or get a cable hookup at the campground.
Don't forget to use AntennaWeb
to find the local stations and what direction to point the antenna. The control head (the white box) side of the antenna points AT the station. The "wings" are 90 degrees to the station. If you have the Winegard Wingman, the elements point AT the station like an arrow.
