Both my youngest son and I are Mustangs. Myself 1970-2006, AFSC C21A3…miss the people and Airplanes a lot. The son has 15 years in and is a KC-135 driver.

I was a FTB1(SS) (CPO Selectee) when I went to OCS. Retired as a LT. GSO General submarine officer.
My understanding is...if you have prior enlisted service you meet the definition of Mustang. Were you LDO or line? With OCS I would think line. None the less, I would gladly call you a brother Mustang.

Regular line officer. "You can trust your car to the man who wears the star." Line officer star above the stripes. Submarine was 1120 with sub heading (pun not intended) of nuc or gso.

I was Chief Hull Tech 4952 Pressure Plate Welder before commissioned as CWO2 7141. Retired as CWO4 7141 Repair Surface Navy with destroyers, frigates, AR, light Cruiser,mine sweepers and the last three were gators. Loved them all. Nucleus crew Pre-com on one FF and one LSD. Decommissioned the CA, USS Boston.
