Choice Cards

Just thought I would post this to our Veterans. Friday I got a letter and card from the VA. They have now started to allow vets who do not live within a 70 miles distance to a VA Hospital or clinic to use a DR by there home. And now that I live in rural Virginia, for me to go to Richmond is 110 miles and 80 to go to Durham NC. The Va. will still pay for your meds and any appointments with your local Dr. The Dr. has to be approved but it sure will help me not having to make them long drives. This has been in the works for awhile and now they have moved forward on it. Hope it helps someone. You can call 866-606-8198 to see if you qualify. Also THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE..

Considering how the VA has mistreated our veterans in the past, this is the least they can do to make things right.

Let's hope it's just the first step in the many they need to make the service that our veterans rightly deserve available to them.
