I know of many of these. The other thing to remember is...ASK. Ask an establishment if they offer a military discount. All they can say is no. But some could surprise you. A good example of that is around here we have a place called The Hot Biscuit. I asked one time, and the employee at the register said "I don't know". She went and got her manager, and he said no, but gave me a 10 percent discount anyway. So you just never know until you ask.

Around these parts there is a DQ that gives a full 50% off for retired veterans. Wife and I eat like royality for about $7.
