Got 2500 hours in the Herk. Loved it - very vesatile airplane. Great to see it still being used. My time was in E models flying for MATS/MAC - 64-67. C-141s after that for another 5500 hours. Tooling around the world in those flying trucks was the best job I ever had.

Oh yeah, Vietnam more than once, Middle East several times, love them herc's. Shoved out the back when the landing area was hot! The most reliable ride I was ever on.......tetsurvivor
