Yes, I know about being a sailor and just seeing a lot of dirt around, too. Spent three weeks at USMC base in 29 Palms one hot July. Sat there in base camp with my medical detachment wondering how a love of sailboats had resulted in my being in that scorched, hot, barren place!
But, a sailor is a sailor; where the same uniform with pride. Welcome home!
