I might as well hop on the wagon..

Howdy folks,

21 years active duty Army (MSgt. E-8).. Retired now.. sorta kinda..

7 years Electronics & Hydraulics on the XM1 and then the M1 Abrahms
MBT.. Fire control / Thermal Sighting Systems and Hydraulic motion
control..

Reclassed and re-up'd for 4 years and went MI. Then somehow after
being assigned to the Cav.. Doing Airborne & Air Assault schools..
Jungle & Pathfinder courses in Panama.. SFAS and a MI Billet at the
SF course.. I just seemed to keep re-enlisting..

Spent the rest of my career chasing spies.. jumping (sometimes falling)
out of perfectly good aeroplanes and helo's... RECON !!

All in all.. I wouldn't change any of it.. Well.. Except when Pres. Clinton
initiated the cross services RIF which seriously affected my promotion to
E9. It was time to call it then.. DONE.. Now.. I'm just a PFC..

Worked for NASA in San Fran for nearly 4 years until they (US Govt. under
Bush Jr.) decided it was time to invade Iraq.. Then I had to climb back on
the horse.. 13 years as a defense contractor..

Just a Ronin these days.. Managing IT & Comm. projects.. Designing
alternative solutions for homes and boat applications.. And when the
circumstances exist I also do commercial & industrial appraisal claims
adjuster services after catastrophic events happen..

Joined this forum because I recently upgraded from a 1999 Fleetwood Wilderness 29' to a 2016 Palomino Puma 32RKTS.. Awesome RV..
It isn't a Keystone Outback 298RE which was my initial choice..

However, It is right up there with it.. added bonus.. My 32RKTS already
had the W&D installed in the closet ! Hoo Wahhhh !

See ya'all around..

Retired AF & Civil Service

I’m a retired AF SMSgt (E-8) who did almost 28 years and just recently retired from Civil Service as a GS-11. Recently traded in our pull behind for a 2013 Sunseeker 3010DS that only had 5,127 miles on it and we’re loving it!

Joined the Army January of 1992 as PSYOP. Short break in service under Clinton sent me to the Police Force. Came back in as Counter Intel, then back to PSYOP. Went to flight school in 2001 (pre 9/11) and have been flying Chinooks ever since. I'm now one of four Army Accident Investigators that investigate most Army fatalities world wide. Hope to retire next year.

Welcome to the Puma family. We have a 2008 Puma 26RLSS that we have taken all over the West and Midwest in the last 8 years. It has served us well. We really like the layout. Repairs have been average and doable. I have been active in the VW 50th Anniversary Commemoration Partner Program through my church. It has been very rewarding. I am a 2-tour Vietnam War vet with the Navy. Destroyer on gunline and Gulf of Tonkin ops followed by Mobile Riverine Force ops on Mekong on U.S.S. Colleton (APB-36). Moved into medical community after shipboard ops and retired from reserves as Medical Service Corps after 34 combined years of service. Welcome aboard.

Spent 20 years, mostly as an AO( Navy Aviation Ordnancemen) and a tour as K9. Like any other job it has its ups and downs. Miss it sometimes.
