looking for list...
Good morning.
After 16 yrs of military service both in Air and Army, I'm finally looking forward to camping - and sleeping on something softer that a 1/2 inch self inflating mattress and a bivey bag.
Does anyone have access to US military campgrounds on the east coast?

Yes sir. I have been camping at military FAMCAMPS for as long as I have been camping (first with a MWR travel trailer rental and then my own 5th wheel).
If you have not visited www.usmilitarycampgrounds.com I urge you to consider it. It is run by a USAF retiree for us to report on and advise us on military FAMCAMPS (of all branches to include the Coast Guard) in the 50 states.
I also urge you to purchase his computer Windows software version (I have no financial interest in his site or software; but use it very often) of his database. It is inexpensive and good for a year. This income is used to support his operation.
He gets for his effort. He is trying to field an affordable Apple verison for the iP**** but so far it has been out of reach.
