Spent 7 years in the Army as a 11B4P, Airborne Infantry Pathfinder. Three tour in Vietnam with 1/8 Cav and 11th Pathfinder Co., 1st Air Cav. Next 23 years as a private contract pilot with different branches of the Gov. Sports competition shooting and RVing till I die!

AME2 74-78, Egress and enviormental control systems on EA6B aircraft, was on the USS Forrestal and USS Enterprise,

Hammer: I was on South Padre Island the day the Forestall was hauled in to be turned into razor blades. Sad day. I should have some images here somewhere.

B47, your showing your age lol 😄, MD-3's and the NF-2's were all replaced by newer equipment about 15 yrs ago lol

Oh yeah - I know. If I knew I was going to live this long,I would have taken better care of myself.
I remember several occurrences of AGE guys and others attempting to tow MD-3's without disconnecting the drive mechanism first.
We sometimes would climb inside a NF-2 in winter trying to keep warm while waiting for someone to show at our plane.

Canadian Armed Forces -1983 to present (yes that is 32+ years)
1. Infantryman, Mechanized Battalion (2 RCR)
2. Infantryman, Airborne Regiment (3 CDO)
3. Military Policeman....patrolman, Shift 2ic and ic, General Criminal Investigations, Drug Investigations
4. Directing Staff PLQ Instructor (Primary Leadership Qualification) - course which qualifies to a supervisory rank (Master Corporal)
5. Presently Platoon Warrant (I believe the equal to First Sgt in the USA)at the Integrated Personnel Support Centre where we assist the troops in transition to Civi Street (alot of injuries from tours who could not rehab back to service).
