USAF from 1969-1972. Supply for the first year and then computer operator in supply for the last three. I have no idea what the USAFSC was anymore. My travels took me from Lackland (San Antonio) to Lowry (Denver) to Williams (Phoenix) back to Lowry, back to Williams, to Eielson (Fairbanks) to my final stop at Malmstrom (Great Falls, MT) in under four years. I guess they didn't want me to get too comfortable in one place.

Started off in the USAF as a 20670 Photo Interpretation Tech. Ten years later, (as a MSgt.) accepted a US Army Warrant Commission as a 962A Image Interpreter. And retired in 1980 (USAF/USA 23 total years) as a Chief Warrant Officer-4. Then retired from a national Intelligence agency (as a civilian) in 2000 as a Senior Intelligence Officer. Tours took me to France, Germany, Korea, Laos, and Viet Nam twice in my military career (Asst IIV Hq G2Air(66) and 245 Avn Co OV-1 Crewmember(69)) .

Thanks to all of you. We can't come close to any of your accomplishments. My partner was married to a Navy airman for over 20 years. That was a hard job, but no one was shooting at anyone else.

It appears that the specialty codes have changed over the years, but I was a Petroleum Supply Officer in the US Army Quartermaster Corps. I believe my code was 92D back in the 80s, but now it would be 92F. After leaving active duty with 9 years of service I then joined an Army National Guard unit in NC for a few years. In the ANG I was a Petroleum Engineer with a Corps of Engineers unit.

I now regret that I got out, but I thought it was the right decision at the time...

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
The things that come to those that wait will be the scraggly crappy junk left by those that got there first.
