Yep - but considering the job we were doing,it had to be that way. Old man Lemay was the SAC Commander when I was in and while you might gripe about some of his directives,you always knew there was a good reason for them.

Spent 22 years in the Army and during that time I started out as a Nike test equipment repairman (22L) then went into recruiting (79R) for 10 years then completed my career as a administrative specialist (71L). Retired in 1998.

US Army: Multi-engine airplane repairman, OH-6A Combat Scout pilot, TH-55 Instructor pilot, 100BC Medium Cargo Helicopter pilot CH-47, B,C&D. Retired in 1986. Then flew Life Flight helicopters for 27 years.
