There are numerous mornings when I'm trying to get my back and knees loosened up that drafting and surveying would have sounded pretty good.

I was Tactical Air Ops. Basically that means that I was a computer tech. Maintained and repaired the equipment. It was brand new and still secret gear at the time.

That sounds very similar to my second career field. We linked with all branches of the service via secure and non secure modems, AWACS, tech control, satellites, etc.

That "Death from Above" was the designation of Charlie Company, 1/8th Cav in Vietnam starting in late 1965. I served with 1st platoon as a grunt and RTO for my first tour, then the second and third tour with the 11th Pathfinder Co.[provisional] 11th Aviation Group, 1st Air Cav Div. 11B4Y Still have my scarf and a few of the original "playing cards".
