Are you pleased with your TV and 8316ss combo? I too have a 2010 F150 Lariat 5.4L, 3.55, 20" tires, internal tow/haul mode, n sway control and 9800# tow rating. Have Reese Dual cam WDH. Like to purchase a 2010 8315bss, dry 6800# thats the weight out of factory. Any advice would be welcomed.

My father was one of the leading "phone-patch" stations during the late 60's (sorry if that's not the right term since I'm not a ham). I remember as a child that when conditions were right he would spend 18 hours a day patching through hundreds of calls home from the troops. He would sleep in the shack then get up for another shift and of course this was always the middle of the night in California. He also ran the District 6 QSL Bureau out of our garage for something like 30 years. His XYL (my mom) was always by his side and was the first non-ham to win Ham-of-the-Year for the Southern California ARRL area. She finally broke down after that and got her novice license just to make the old man happy...KF6EKP. She passed away in Jan 2000.
His call sign is W6LPJ and he is still on the air at the age of 84 after 68 years. 73s.
