My son has been stationed at Camp Lejuene just down the road from SOI the last 3 years. They have a beautiful camping site on the intercoastal waterway not far from the beach. Like someone previous said, he just has to sponsor you and meet you at the gate when you arrive. Have never stayed there so I have no idea how far in advance they fill up. He should have 72 hrs off (used to be 96) for Easter.
