I had no family at Pearl Harbor, but I have met Pearl Harbor survivors. Stationed in Hawaii for 3 years, I was around the Arizona memorial many times. I visited Ford Island on a regular basis.

I did loose an Uncle at Iwo Jima. He was a 17 year old Marine.

Too many have forgotten. Too many will fail to reflect and remember.

My condolences to those who lost loved ones at Pearl Harbor.

My Dad was in Germany in '45-'46, was shot at twice, returned home safe. He remembered seeing a couple of the concentration camps.

Semper Fi. My grandfather was aboard the USS California at Pearl Harbor on December 7th and survived. Amazing generation of men and women. It is important that we never forget.
