USAF still in!

22 years and counting in Air Force as Logistics readiness officer (21R3)...We do all things logistics.

Currently an instructor at the Naval War College in Newport, RI...not a bad gig, but moving next month to Langley.

Looking forward to retirement in a couple/few years and RVing much more frequently.

Hubby is retired Army apache helo pilot. 1985-2005. 1 Air Force son, 1 marine son, 2 army special ops son-in-laws. Always somebody coming or going from the 'stans. 2nd year in our Crusader 290. Working our way towards a cross country trip. Just picked camper back up from mishap with a falling pecan tree in a storm in San Marcos, TX. 12k in damage but camper world was awesome in getting it back to us in an expeditious manner. Looking forward to meeting new friends and seeing some old ones as we head out! Mostly it's me and the dog traveling now and he flies to meet us when he's not flying for the oil companies. Nice to see Army Aviation family on here! I'm a retired CW4 Cobra, Huey, Blackhawk, whatever was available pilot. Retired in 2004 after 31 years when I came up on orders for Iraq (decided I was too old to get shot at anymore) Say HEY! to your husband for me.

He is cw4 and started career in apaches and ended it in CRJs and king airs. He flies for PHI right now to offshore rigs. Retired for same reason! Did most of our time at Bragg and out of Conroe, tx at end. He did 1st gulf war and that was enough. Our son in laws have been 8 & 9 times. Our marine got out after 2 tours in 3 years and best friend dying in his arms. This is a rough time for these guys. He said he looks forward to meeting you along the road!

hello to all Vets

I am a new Forest River forum member, and am retired Army. Served 29 years in the Infantry, most on Airborne status...and proud to say it was all spent with either infantry units or teaching infantry. Glad to say I never served at the Pentagon or some higher level staff..."hats off" to those that did...it wasn't for me.

To all Veterans on here, thank you for your service. I read somewhere that less than 1% of this nation serves, or has served. This nation owes you a great debt.
