Amen. This is Mrs. Old Car. My Dad is 92 and one of those from the Greatest Generation, serving in both WWII and Korea. I'm very proud of him and all those who served both then and now. He rarely talks about his time in the service, but proudly wears a WWII/Korean Veteran ball cap I bought him in Branson, MO at the museum there almost every day. Just last night at dinner in a local restaurant, a young woman came up to him and thanked him for his service when she saw his cap.

Truly a member of the Greatest Generation. Thank you so much for sharing this. I will also share that my sister-in-law has written a wonderful book about Glen King. He is 91 years old and shares his story with school children as part of their history classes. The book is "No Ordinary Life" by Sue Johnpeter and is available on Amazon.
