Flagstaff V-Lite 30WIKSS and Motorcycle

I have a 2015 Flagstaff V-Lite 30WIKSS Diamond Edition and want to take a motorcycle along with me. The motorcycle 7’-7” long, 537lbs. Does anyone have experience or advice towing a TT with a motorcycle loaded in the bed of your truck? I hope to purchase a Ford F250 with 8' bed soon.

Depending on what else you load into the truck and what the yellow door jam stickers says what your truck is capable of handling then you will know. TT is at 9000 loaded. Later RJD

I have crossed the country with a bike in the back of the truck pulling a travel trailer. Was not a problem. truck was an 86 Chevy 3/4 ton. Bike was 80 HD Electra Glide. Trailer was a 32 ft bumper pull. Did have some slow mountain pulls, but the would have been slow no matter what.

Thanks for your reply.
I am also looking to see if any truck toppers would be tall enough so we would have a way of loading and securing the motorcycle, generator and other gear.

Royal Wolf, I have a Econoline 350XL Super Duty with a V10 and 3.73 gears. I have added Firestone Ride Rite air bags and load a Honda ST1300 in the back. We tow a 831FKSS with no problems. Did it for a while with a Dodge 250 Maxiwagon, but wouldn't recommend anything less than a 1 Ton. The ST weighs about 725lbs. Cheers Ed.

For the little difference in price get an F350 to ensure you have lots of payload capacity and then you should have nothing to worry about.
