Neat-looking bike. After riding many miles (probably in excess of 40,000 many of them at over 100 mph) in the the late 1960's in the UK as a development engineer at Norton, working on the 750 Commando program, I've often considered getting back on a bike.
Then I remember that, firstly I've turned 70 and no way could I kick start a Commando and, secondly, when we first emigrated, I decided that riding a motorcycle among all these blind-as-a-bat senior citizens in Washington State was akin to committing suicide. I didn't want my recent bride with two young children to come face to face with a State Trooper at the door.
I still get the urge, particularly when about 25,000 bikers show up in Anacortes for the fall Oyster Run, but I've been able to suppress it (so far!).
