Here's my motorcycle

1998 Yamaha YZF600R. In great condition considering how old it is.

Neat-looking bike. After riding many miles (probably in excess of 40,000 many of them at over 100 mph) in the the late 1960's in the UK as a development engineer at Norton, working on the 750 Commando program, I've often considered getting back on a bike.

Then I remember that, firstly I've turned 70 and no way could I kick start a Commando and, secondly, when we first emigrated, I decided that riding a motorcycle among all these blind-as-a-bat senior citizens in Washington State was akin to committing suicide. I didn't want my recent bride with two young children to come face to face with a State Trooper at the door.

I still get the urge, particularly when about 25,000 bikers show up in Anacortes for the fall Oyster Run, but I've been able to suppress it (so far!).

since you cant kick start a commando, maybe your wife could give you a little push to get you out of her hair for awhile?
