In the pick up truck ?

Wondering if anyone has tips or suggestions ?
I have a 2013 25’mini lite tt and looking to load my Suzuki boulevard C90T in the bed of the truck and haul the trailer behind, obviously I would have to remove my jack and propane tanks from the trailer because the tailgate has to stay down.... truck is a 2016 ram 1500 4 door crew cab with a 5’5” bed

Just wondering if anyone has done this with the same setup more or less ?

Pretty sure your tailgate will hit the trailer no matter what you remove from the tongue. That truck also may be way over cargo capacity. If you had a full size 2500 bed i would stay no problem.

if you ever do want to, or need to remove your jack, check out Jack-E-Up, ... its made just for that purpose, .... eliminates the tailgate problem, plus, you'll never bend your jack because you didn't raise it up high enough before traveling, ... works great ......

My first suggestion is to check the drivers door post to see what the GVWR of your truck is. Im betting when you load that 4 wheeler, you, DW, and whatever else you haul in the cab, plus the tongue weight of the TT you are over gross.

Seems like two drivers, a toy hauler or a much bigger truck. I’m not sure the tailgate would support the weight. My truck had a weight warning, just don’t remember how much it would hold loading.

I found and bought a longer shank on my WDH just for this same purpose (tailgate down w/ motorcycle in bed) -- but ended up being able to close the tailgate with the motorcycle in diagonally...

Also, as previously mentioned, would have seriously considered the Jack-e-up product too.

I know I'm a little late to this party, but, wouldn't it be possible to get away with a shorter extended shank if you use the Jack E-Up? I'm looking at doing the same thing and would probably have to leave the tailgate down with the bike in the back of my 2016 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 6'4" bed. Although, if the bike fits on an angle and I can close the tailgate, that's the preferred way to go. However, if I can't then leaving the tailgate down is a must. At which point, I'd likely go with an extended shank AND the Jack E-Up. Make sense?

As always, the forums have great solutions.

Nice bike. I had a C90 equipped like the T but aftermarket. The C90T is over 8' long (98") and about 850 lbs. wet. That's a tight fit even on the diagonal and may push your weight capacities (CCC, RAWR, GVWR, Payload). Personally, I wouldn't want to ride it up a ramp to bed height. I really wouldn't want to horse it around to fit on the tailgate.
