Promised a friend of mine who got shot up in Vietnam, that I would take him on the Run to the Wall next Memorial Day. He has never been there, but I was there years ago, and from what I hear it has gotten even larger.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to stay in that area or suggestions along the route? When I went way back when it was getting to be a big thing and the only hotels we could find were in Maryland, but it was worth it. We will be starting from Louisville KY and hope to join in with some of the groups in route.
PS: Already shipped my spare bike from AZ to KY with HaulBikes, and am very pleased with their service and rates. $400 bucks, cheaper than airfare!
