I bought a work and play 19ft, no carpet, but I am wanting to put some motorcycle chokes in it but I don't know what kind of hardware for these floors? and if they make wheel chocks that don't have to be bolted down? any help would be great....it has that hard floor kinda like a spray in bed liner....thanks Murh68

The BOLT IT ON SYSTEM doesn't require any cutting.

Scroll down to the Cherokee forums and look for 'Pimp my 26RR'. Check out how rmac has set his front wheel chock which he can remove and get out of the way. You might be surprised. The wheel chock is always back in the same place each time it's re-installed.
Good luck with what system you choose.

edit to add ~ the Cherokee forum is listed under Toy Haulers

I went with the "lock n load" system in the trailer I carry my motorcycles in. The reason being that you mount an attachment plate to the floor which allows the chocks to be removed when not using them.

In my case, I was able to access the underside of the flooring so I went with bolts, washers, locknuts, and nuts to mount the plates. I suppose if I couldn't access the underside to install nuts and had to use self tapping bolts, I would make sure that at least some of the bolts went into the metal floor framing.

Hope this is of some help.

I believe this thread refers to motorcycle chocks... The OP has started a new thread (http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ks-137817.html) and there are more responses there.

I bought mine this way. 4 bolts hold the chock in. I have a battery impact with a Socket for the chock and another socket for jacks. In and out in 2 min. When it's out, just the right amount of room for an 8' Boat.

I don't have a toy hauler but do have a cargo trailer which I wanted to transport two (2) bikes. I had some 1/2" plywood lying around so I cut two (2) pieces which were long enough for both of the bike tires to fit onto and a little extra for the wheel chock. I bought the wheel chocks from Northern Tool and they are very much like the one in the video minus the straps. When I load the bikes the rear tire gets onto the board, holding the board down, just as the front tire gets onto the wheel chock then the front tire locks in. I can position the board anywhere in the trailer and use this system. After securing the front wheel into the wheel chock I use four (4) straps per bike to secure them to hold-downs mounted flush with the floor, yes I did have to alter the flooring a bit for these but they are flush and not in the middle. This has worked on numerous trips with one or two (2) bikes. I also use this trailer for other reasons so I didn't want anything sticking up permanently in the middle area of the trailer.

I mounted a BikerBar to the floor of the W&P. Couple bolts in the floor and done. No straps needed.

When I bought my 26RR I thought I would have no problem loading my Harley Ultra limited and Street Bob together. I put my ultra in first and had no problem. I used a Harbor Freight chock, not attached, and four tie downs. I put a no slip tool box liner under chock to protect floor and help keep chock from moving. When we put Street Bob in it was obvious the chock would not be able to go on front wheel. So we loaded bike in first and then put the chock in the back and put rear tire in the chock. Used the four tie downs and got both bikes in with no problem. Tight fit up front but plenty of room in the back. HaClick image for larger version

Here is what i built to haul my 2004 Yamaha Vstrom 1000. I wanted something that i could easily take out, but still held the bike stable.

There are cut outs in the plywood that the flip up hold downs fit into. I use 4 ratchet straps, and put a piece of 2X4 between the fork stabilizer and triple clamps. This way it doesn’t compress the forks all the way down. When i get to the campsite, it takes a few minutes to unload the bike and set this under the camper. Cost was a few hours of labor, as i had material already sitting around.

Good to see someone else hauling 2 bikes. We're new to RV'ing got a nice 22rr to haul our 750 Shadow Phantoms. We ordered the chocks for the front wheels and I am going to spend this winter figuring out the best placement for them. My idea is to install some flush mount bolt plates so the chocks can be removed and the holes for the bolts covered with some push in trim fasteners. Playing with the idea of custom building/ remodeling the cabinet so that we can get the Polaris 400 in there. But that's another cat to skin.

We took out the side couches so our bikes could sit side by side. I got 4 matching nice folding chairs to use for seating. And we use trays for the indoor table. This way, if we don’t want to unload the bikes epright away, we still have plenty of living quarters. Click image for larger version
