Not many dual sports pictured....

The wife and I ride the Suzuki DRZ400 and our daughter has the Yamaha XT225.
We took them to Anza Borrego St. Park (CA) and rode till my buns were petrified!

I ride an XT600 rain or shine. Hot or cold. This was an especially cold week last winter when my coldest ride was -8F. Good thing the commute is short.

And yes.... I put some air in my front tire.

I always take one or two DualSport bikes and a mountain bike when we travel to SW USA for the winter. I prefer the DR350SE for my typical DS rides - rough, rocky Jeep trails and forest access roads - but I need a bike for 2-up riding when my wife occasionally comes with me.

I hung my helmet up a few years back but had many dual sports over the years. Last bike was a KTM 525EXC what an awesome motorcycle.

I usually take my KTM 990 when I use the 27HFS. Over memorial day weekend my buddy and I took our bikes up to Moab. His GS1200 and my KTM 990 Adventure both fit great in the cargo area of the 27HFS. Had a great time.

2000 KLR650, end of last year up on Guanella Pass road with a bunch of yellow aspens around me. I call it Muttbike, no pedigree. Finally sold the CR500R this year. Those things will kill ya.

Another - Representing Louisiana here! (actually when possible I D/S ride in Arkansas) Once you taste the good stuff it gets addictive. We do a couple AR Rides each year usually about a week long each time. The rest of the time I spend it riding around national forests in LA, MS and occasionally TX.
A converted CX500, a plated XR400, a DR250 and a plated TTR125 round out our current stable.

Good pics EnduroRdr. I see ya have GoPros on your helmets. Can I ask how they work out being mounted there (any wind resistance at hwy speeds)? I had thought about mounting mine there ( have a flip down visor lever in the way), but ultimately ended up putting it on the front fender where you have your fender bag (assuming tire bars) at.

Are any of your videos posted online?

Wind not too bad - but then we rarely go much over 60mph.

I think this link will go to my vids.

I got my endorsement in April & recently bought a new to me 2005 Yamaha XT225. Today I took the Dirt Class and plan to soon tackle the Trail Class. I want to learn more about riding technique before getting on the pavement with DH on short rides (he has a KLR650).

If you are new to motorcycling, there's a good book on Dual Sport riding techniques that you might find helpful.

Check this out: Essential Guide to Dual Sport Motorcycling: Everything You Need to Buy, Ride, and Enjoy the World's Most Versatile Motorcycles by Carl Adams | 9781884313714 | Paperback | Barnes & Noble

Good luck.
