1st casualty of season !

1st weekend we will probably need our air conditioner. Turned it on and nothing. After investigating seems like squirrels ate through the cover, built a nest, chewed in half the power wire on the motor right up to the housing, the wires to the fan and something else-little suckers! Anyone for squirrel hunting.

And the First Amendment, too. You could just yell at them.

Believe me I have done my share of yelling at them-they taunt me whenever they get a chance. Thought of hooking up a small electric fence around the air conditioner and see how they like it !!!! The air condtioner is up and running again after a few hurtles-I am very fortunate that DH repairs RV's.

Oh dang. We have lots of squirrels around here, but have never had any damage from them (knocking on wood). I thought I had it bad though when the mud daubers built a bunch of nexts all over my AC and particularly, the fan. Made the whole camper shake like an earthquake.
