2013 Streets & Trips to Garmin nuvi 2460lmt

Finally figured out how to load a trip from MS Streets and Trips 2013 to my Garmin nuvi 2460LMT. Only took me about 2-1/2 hrs, but being a computer dummy, I finally got it. Couldn't put in our entire trip from Concord-Goshen-Moline-Knoxville, IA-Trenton, MO-Lonoke, AR and return, but breaking it up in sections worked great. Also had the Low Clearance already added to the Garmin and MS S&T.

With your Garmin connected to your confuser, pull up your trip on S&T, go to data ion, select 'export to GPX file...', name it and save to the GPX file in the Garmin. Unplug the Garmin from the confuser, power it up, go to 'Where to', scroll down to 'Plan trip' (little stick pins) and click. WAIT and do nothing, on mine, there was a little hourglass spinning. When the hourglass quits spinning, your trip will be loaded.

You can also do the first saving without the Garmin connected if you remember what the file name is and where it is. Then connect it to the confuser, copy the file to the GPX on the Garmin, unplug it and power it up.

Well, I just tried it again and it didn't work. Emailed Garmin and got this response.

Thank you for contacting Garmin International.

I am happy to assist you. The Garmin is not compatible with Microsoft Streets and Trips. You can use the Garmin program BaseCamp for all of your routing needs the link below will take you this program. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

BaseCamp™ | Garmin | United States

So, am in process of downloading BaseCamp. We'll see how that works.

Kinda crazy for it to work once, but now it's not compatible.

Turns out mine is too old to have more than one way point destination.
