30 Amp Home Socket

Does anyone have a detailed description to install a 30 amp. plug-in so that the TT air conditioner can work at home/cabin? This would be a direct circuit only for the TT.

Here's a link to what you need at Home Depot...

Gotta love the money exchange between Canada and the U.S. Just bought the same item for $6 and change at Lowe's in Missouri.

Listen to Herk on this one! I just found out the hard way. Had the right receptacle but the heavy duty extension cord was hooked to 220 rather than 110. $2200+ in damages.

I thought about installing an exterior box and decided to leave the 30A outlet inside the garage and run the camper's power cord under the garage door. My thinking was if there's access to only one end, the power cord won't go for a walk.

Yea, my outdoor box padlocks it's cover over the RV plug. Otherwise I would worry about theft too. Copper prices are very high at times.
