3M Command Hooks and wallpaper

I know in the past there has been many positive comments on the use of 3M hooks in trailers. Just wondering if anyone has had issues with the 3M hooks peeling off any of the wallpaper that is pretty much on every wall in the trailers.

Used them on three campers now. No problems. The wall paper is actually bonded to the veneer backing, much better than home wallpaper I think. I bet I have 16 command hooks in use in our fiver right now.

I love them. Used them in my old tt with no issues. Now have them in my fiver, still no issues. I just hung a key rack and coat rack with the heavy duty 30 lb 3m tape as well. We will see how that holds up to the weight of all our jackets in the fall/winter.

Good to hear...not looking to hang anything very heavy on them, just keys and a light jacket or the like.

Yes I have had a negative result on the wallpaper. Make sure there is not a seamless close to where you want to put one. I had one to hang my hat and it pulled the wallpaper up.

Yes, we have had problems. Don't hang anything heavy or it may pull off the wallpaper.

Command hooks

I agree. Especially if is hot. They will cause the vinyl wall covering to sag. I'm using picture hanging hooks with small nails.

We hang our coats, trousers, heavy winter robes, etc. on these and have never had any problems. They will take quite a bit of weight, yet come right off (when you choose to remove them) just like at home.

i have several 3m hooks in my trailer and one of the command hooks has loosened the covering but hasn't peeled off. Don't know why one of them did this.
