Our Chevy Silverado 2500HD has a 6' 6" bed, and we just upgraded from a TT to a 2016 Cardinal 3250 5th Wheel about a year ago. We chose the Pul-Rite Super Slider hitch, and it has worked flawlessly ever since. However, late last year we added a sliding tonneau cover in order to secure the bed area of our truck when disconnected. The tonneau added less than an inch to the height of the bed sides, but enough to cause interference with the king pin frame of the trailer while backing on uneven terrain, like our own driveway!! Today we increased the height of the entire hitch by about 1.5 inches with full factory parts, and the problem is solved.
