A little more help on drawer removal please.

We have a Flagstaff 2014, 831RESS. I need to fix a couple of drawers. I ready through the old thread about drawer removal. But still need more help.

Mine have the tabs - one pushes up, on pushes down. So I push down on the tab and up on the other - nothing. I pushed down and push up then pulled a little harder - nothing. I pushed down and pushed up pulled up and out a little harder - nothing.

Can someone help describe how i get the drawers out?

Thanks.

I can put up a couple of pictures but it's pretty easy. The back of the drawers separated from the frame. A bit of gorilla glue and a small clamp job for about 3 hours and presto the problem will go away. It simply would be easier if I can get the drawers out. The slides all work, I'm just a little slow and cannot get them out of the slides to turn upside down to glue and clamp.

I can send pics but I just need to know how to get the drawers to release. If you still need pics I'll upload but honestly the mechanism works fine.

Thanks again.

Evidently not.

Your choice.

The pics

The first pic is of the back of the drawer that I've managed to repair. I wedge a piece of cloth up from the floor to hold the base in place while the glue dried.

The second is of the mechanism on the right side as you look at the drawer. The left side is the same mechanism but upside down.

I'll try to be a little more helpful. My drawers have the double extensions and a black plastic clip on each side. You are supposed to be able to push up on both extensions to raise a notch that keeps the drawer from coming out but the clips are too flexible to allow the notch to lift far enough,. If yours are this way use a small screwdriver under the long portion of the black clip and side of the extension. Then push the black plastic clip up and then slide the outside extension toward the back of the cabinet. The black clip is U-shaped and you must get close to the back of it to compress the clip enough for the notch to clear.

Hope this is clear.

EDIT: Yours is not like mine. When I clicked to post my response you had added pictures. Try a hardware or big box store to see if they have any like yours.

Do you need more info?

Old Coot is that enough? I can call my dealer or stop by but I feel fairly silly for not being able to pull these out

Different from any I've seen. Might try prying it out instead of up or down.

Try to hold lever down one side at a time, don't pull draw out- push that slide into base. Repeat other side. May have to shake a bit but it will free. Leave a short amount of track hold the draw while you release the 2nd side.
