Aerospace 303 and streaking

For those of you who use Aerospace 303...what is the best way to prevent streaking? I know using excess product can cause that. What I have done is spray the 303 onto a soft cloth then apply that to the decals or whatever other area I am protecting. However I have noticed that after wiping, there seems to be streaking that remains on and around the decals. Some have mentioned using a very well wrung out damp cloth, but this seems counter productive. Seems like I would be simply wiping the 303 off using a damp cloth.

Not sure what you mean by wiping it on. It is supposed to be applied then buffed dry. I have found a spray on wax called Opticlean that works great if you want to try a different product, it is used by pro detailers. Spray on, wipe dry. I just did the whole TT and it's easy to use and lasts quite awhile.
