Air conditioner run off help

Has anyone come up with something that will collect the water from the air conditioner? Looking at maybe a bucket we could connect PVC pipe/hose to so we can drain away from the camper. Right now we either end up with a mud pit or a wet deck depending on what we're doing. Getting to old to carry a bucket of water around to dump somewhere.

I just slope the trl a little toward the rear and the left, that way the AC water drains off the back corner of the trl where we seldom walk.

Tried that and it doesn't work at our semi-permanent site. We either have a mud hole that runs down the hill that other people walk through-not pretty or we have it splash on the deck-not good for deck

I've tried putting a small pile of rocks where the runoff goes to, at least, dissipate it. Still hasn't helped a whole lot.

Any thoughts on doing a simple rainwater collection bucket?

Or, you could take a tip from the homeowner we bought from. He had a leaking tub above the HVAC duct work. He took a cookie sheet and set it on top. On that, he put a tupperware container about 6" wide x 10" long and about 2"-3" tall. He put a layer of small gravel in the bottom of it. In the side of it, he cut a hole near the bottom and glued a clear vinyl tube to it. He ran that vinyl tube to the laundry room sink. You could do the same only run the tube to somewhere convenient. Only- I bet you a dollar I'd trip over the friggin' thing.

Ok I cant stand it .............. I was hoping you guys would come up with this ..

take a length of small diameter rope and and attach it to the gutter spout then let the rope dangle to a bucket which has a plastic hose barb fitted on the side towards the bottom, then attach a hose to the hose barb and run it out 15'
problem solved .

it works
a small amount of water will follow the string or rope

many years ago when I was young and next to poor
the roof starting dripping
yes of all places
right into the middle of the bed
wrapped some string around a thumb tack
stuck it into the ceiling where the leak was coming from
wrapped the other end around a brick in a large pan
we would lay in bed dry
as we watched the water drip down the string into the pan

glad those days are over

but
one does what one has to do

Turbo,I guess you are going to tell them about the (Clothes Pin ) trick on the gutter spouts to avoid Black Streaks on the RVs! Youroo!!

+1 on the clothes pin! Attach to your gutter downspouts and the water will run off the end of the clothespin and not down the side of your trailer!

Right on the ends plastic or wood doesn't matter
Sometimes 2 pins per spout will work if it ain't real windy.

Two pins in a row, one attached to the back of the other? Or, two pins coming off the spout separately?
This is inspiring me to invent a tubing apparatus like a gutter drain tubing thing.
Can use french drain type tubing if you want a RN splash park.
For the rope method, do you use nylone rope, cotton rope, twine rope, or doesn't matter?

that's what we do also then put a pail there. On my seasonal lot I have collected stones from the beach to let the runoff go so there isn't erosion.

I elected to put a flower and flower pot under the drip. I never have to water it and it looks nice.
