Can someone with the updated 'slider', 'slide-arm', or whatever you call it post a picture of how the wiring is ran on the right hand (front) arm of the awning? Looking for pic's of the wire ran by the slide arm portion.

Thanks,

Steve

Thank you for posting the video fonzie! Our walk through he didn't show us how to tilt it with the electric awning. He said the dump feature would be good enough!

It is routed the same as in/on the non-adjustable arm.

Not really that much slack, it just moves side to side in the arm.

Need to correct my post, the wiring turns at the pivot and goes up the arm to the main anchor/pivot on the trailer. So, the adjustable arm does not come into play with the wiring. Sorry for misnomer that suggested or implied it went along the adjustable arm.

Old Coot,

Here is an image of my arm taken shortly after my other arm had its' oops. Where does the wire run???

In my stock non adjustable arm it runs up the channel where the replacement 'slider' would go. In other words as it sets, if I replace the bottom arm with the new 'slider' arm, my wiring would have to go inside it.

From the motor down to the first pivot and up the diagonal strut to the trailer and down the channel anchored on the trailer and down to the bottom of that channel to a hole at the bottom and into the camper. The wiring does not go thru the bottom struts.

You might have to splice the original to route it like the new units or simply try it as it is with the adj. arm and see if it will work.
