I have to log in to see i still have six months left. i get a letter every couple of weeks now. not do friendly of a business practice
Yeah, I just got my new card. And had I pulled my old one out BEFORE I sent my renewal in....I would have seen the date I was good to. Its right there on the card. Duh.

Well I'm a life member but as the years have gone by GS has become like most other business. It's called money money and more money. I did not become a member to be bombarded by all the advertizement to buy this buy that. It's a joke any more. What happened to the good old GS. As far as I'm concerned the new folks that took over have ruined it. Later RJD

I hold out until the month it expires -- They'll start offering deals. Last year I got a free night of camping (you mail them receipt (has to be GS Park) and they send you a check for (up to) $25.) This year I got a $20 CW Certificate. Reduces net membership cost to $5 - $10 range.
Is the Good Sam renewal not the same as a Costco renewal? By that I mean that regardless of when you renew, the annual date for use of the card remains constant. At least here in Canada that's how our Costco works.
