Bathroom splatter trick

Ok, so this is a kind of funny trick that my wife came up with. To my surprise, it's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Figured I would share it for anyone who might be interested...or at least a few of you may get a good laugh.

So my wife complained to me that every time she cleans the bathroom in our RV she has to scrub the walls, floor and everything else around the toilet because of my "splatter." I didn't realize how bad it was until she showed me the rag she wiped the walls with. Ok, it was bad.

She came up with this idea...to use an oil funnel to direct everything into the bowl and without splatter. To my surprise it's not a hassle and keeps the bathroom clean. I rinse it out in the shower and hang it up in there to dry.

Now some of you may be thinking this is a good idea...

Some of you might have just got a good laugh...

Some of you might be thinking this is gross...

And I'm sure there is a few women out there that are handing rags to there husbands to go check their bathrooms.

Can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts.

You know what this is, don'tcha?

Three muchachos taking a leak. The one on the left is telling a joke. The other two are laughing.

The moral: Stop listening to joke-telling muchachos in the bathroom!

Lol. Actually this was somewhat of a joke. My wife did complain about the splatter but I resolved the issue by not turning on the pump and just stepping on the toilet pedal.

Itís not a bed pan, itís a urinal that they give guys. A bed pan is what you sit on if you need to go, but it wonít work for guys needing to urinate. Sorry - the nurse in me is coming out.

We noticed when you flush with our toilet it splashes a fine mist on the wall.
I was trying to figure out a way of reducing the pressure on the toilet.
The funnel is a great Idea to fill my TH gas tank. Where to you keep it in between uses? Hang on wall, sink , shower ?

I can't believe that if a man is making 'that much mess' or can't control 'the snake'.... just "sit down" for the job !

No need to have extra gizmos around to stink up the camper.
No need to be harassed by the wife.
~ Just sit for #1 & #2.... easy as that ~

Unless you like to have your RV bathroom smelling like a bear cave !

Camping with my 85 y.o. father, I wish it was that simple. I showed him the mess once, and requested he sit. He remembered for about 3 days.

Wonder if the four girls in our camper would mind having a urinal in the WC?

X2. I don't usually sit, but it is my job to clean bathrooms, so it's amazing how my aim improved

I got in the habit of sitting. It's just easier, plus I it gives me a chance to tuck my shirt in when I'm done.
DW has a friend who hates when her sister and bil come to visit. The bil splatters everywhere.

I always sit when I get up in the middle of the night. I don't have to turn on any lights that way. I'm sitting more during the day now too. It's easier to change my Depend pad sitting down. Recovering from prostate surgery, can't wait until the leaking stops.
