The point is that what about when that bike rack bounces off of that rear bumper and slams into somebody who is in the wrong place at the wrong time...behind you?

I've seen bikes dragging on the ground behind TT's and 5'vers on the interstate three times this spring and summer so far...

And twice I've seen scrunched up bikes (probably ran over a couple of times) lying on the ground along the side of the interstate...most likely the RV that was carrying them didn't even know they were gone (or what might have happened to the unfortunate drivers behind them) until their next stop!

"Seeing a bike dragging" doesn't necessarily implicate the bike rack. We all know that lots of people clamp a rack to the crappy RV bumpers and take off down the road. Just because a rack isn't identified as "qualified" does NOT mean it's a piece a crap.
