What about pipe insulation? It's close to being a pool noodle.

Just shove some fiberglas insulation without the paper in the holes.

I have trouble with a little Brown Wren. They try to build a nest in the slide topper and in the trailair hitch

WOW, what great ideas......pipe insulation, plastic owls, balloons covered in aluminum foil, styrofoam, bird deterrent tape, building insulation....and tips on where to find swimming noodles in the winter---Toys R Us and K Mart!!

I have some left over building insulation, so I'll try that first, and if that doesn't work, I'll just work my way down this great list......THANKS EVERYONE

Tried your suggestion about using fiberglass insulation, because I had it on-hand. I just happen to have a strip that was just the right size and length, to stuff up in the area right below the slide topper and the slide frame.

Seems to have worked, cause since I put it in place....no more birds or bird poop.
Thanks
