Black water tank

Dumped the blackwater and we hooked up a hose to the black tank rince outlet. How long should we rince it for? I saw no water coming out.
How much liquid is left ib the black tank after dumping? Is there a way to completely empty it or is it better not to?

Here is a hundred ways of flushing a blackwater tank. Lots of good advice. I am sure one will work for you.

How to rinse out a black water tank

PS My cousin told me "Be careful dumping. Blow outs will happen." I have been lucky so far.
