Bug Screens

Recently ordered and now received the metal bug screens for the furnace and the lover part of the water heater. Installed them today, no problem. Didn't have screens for the fridge vent or the part of the water heater panel that has a screen. Although it has a screen, I think the mesh is still too large so I took fiberglass screen fabric and hot glued a piece inside the panel. I also used the same material and fashioned screens for the fridge vent panel. Now my TT is bug proof, except for the top vent on the fridge. I don't do ladders very well anymore so I will just hope the insects don't find that spot.

Inspect your screens before every use.... the TT has to breath..

Good call, I screened every possible place I could on my Roo. I used aluminum duct tape for the hot areas.

When people ask why I say I don't ever want any hornet surprises.

I used alum duct tape & silver outdoor screen porch material to cover all our openings, it's a nice concealed look that vents very well & keeps everything out

Great suggestion! Have been looking for store bought screens for same purpose but any time I can DIY I'm happy. Not that I'm the cheap Charlie the DW accuses me of being. I like the projects and I generally can make it a little better than that guy over in China.
