Cab over bunk area

We have a 3100SS Sunseeker , we like taking our grandchildren on weekend trips but are always concerned about them falling out of the cab over bunk during the night. Has anyone got a suggestion how to make the cab over bunk area safer

put them in rock climbing harness and attach them to a secure point. If It works on Portaledges 100's of feet in the air it should work with kids 5 or 6 foot up

I am not sure the ages of the grand kids but with my 15 month old we are going to try a pool noodle under the fitted sheet and if that fails we will go to the "guard" that they sell at walmart, it is metal with a mesh and goes under the mattress to keep them from rolling out, our only issue is it is not quite long enough. Mind you I do not own a sunseeker I am working with a Lacrosse in the bunk house but I am sure it is close o the same issue.

Mountndream, I can honestly say this is the first time I have seen such a cavalier answer to what was a serious question.

We use these in our Sunseeker. Work great under the fitted sheet.

if this is the most Cavalier answer you have ever encountered, you need to spend more time on the internet.

I apologize if I offended, but the comment was obviously meant in jest and for humor.

With that said, it would work. Petzl and other gear makers do make child sized harness.

Coachmen uses a cargo net that fits from the base of the bed and attaches to the ceiling with a couple of seat belt locks. I imagine a cargo net could be retrofitted with some hooks and work just as well.

When I had my Sunseeker 2900 we used this type. You can buy them at Target, wallmart etc.

Bunks

If the children aren't to big you could have them lay with there feet towards falling point more room than it looks like

Did this in my bunkhouse in my TT. Not sure if it will work in cab over bunk but... It's a shel from Lowes that I cut to the width I wanted and used small shelf brackets to hold it on. Was very happy to find that color, other than the knots it looks pretty close in color.
