cabinet dividers

Are there any ideas out there to divid the cabinet space in an RV. The cabinet over my dinning area has three doors but it's all one space and I'd like to divid it up to keep things from sliding around.

They make these little curtain rods that are adjustable . They have rubber stops on the ends . Dw thought of these and they work great

we have the same issue above the TV. I use bins and label them. take the whole bin out and get what you need.

I also put bins in the long overhead cabinets over the chairs in the rear of the TT over the two chairs. I also labeled them BBQ, ANIMALS, PAPER. NOW when we cook outside I can just grab the BBQ and have everything I need. Same with the ANIMALS bin.

I have a Rockwood Mini-Lite 2306. In the back, near the bunks, it has a ~36" high wardrobe. It doesn't quite meet the need of my family's little campers. We were just piling their clothes in the bottom of the cabinet and not hanging anything back there. Here's the cabinet:

So, I took some 1"x1" (poplar) and had my father-in-law cut 2 slots in each piece about 1/2" wide and about 15" apart. We also cut 3 plywood shelves about 15"x15". I placed one of the shelves on the bottom of the cabinet to level it. Then put the 1"x1"s in the 4 corners of the cabinet and slid the shelves into the slots we cut.

So, that's a closeup of the finished product. Everything fits nice together and will be easily removed if we decide we want the wardrobe back. Here's the finished cabinet full view.

Shelves look real nice! Great idea.

Nicely done! I was concerned about weight, with all of my mods, so I did similar, but using the wire shelving available at Home Depot or Lowes.

Sorry hkreck...looks like your thread got highjacked.

As an option, for those cabinets we load everything towards the front (camper end) then put a pillow or towels in the other end to fill any space... everything wants to shift toward from braking. We also use extras pillow in the cabinets over the dishes to keep from breaking.

You need to add shocks to the trailer, makes a big difference.

Try these. As long as your cabinets are between 16 and 28 inches deep you can put these in between.
