Looking to my favorite experts. Is there any issues/concerns about camping after winterizing as long as you don't do water hookups and don't use the toilets? What am I missing?

Several people where we have a seasonal site use their campers during the winter after winterizing. The bring their own drinking water and use the port-a-john. They put their sink covers in place to remind them not put anything down the drains (a hard habit to break).
At my age, the effort to dewinterize and rewinterize is outweighed by the pain of getting dressed and making the trek to the bathroom several times each night. Same for going to the shower.
If you only use the toilet, just take some jugs of water for it. Dumping the tanks isn't much trouble. That's what I did when we used our Sunseeker for house guests in January.

We use ours when it's cold. We just pour a little water into the toilet when we flush and use water from our water jug in the sink to wash up, etc. Just dump the tanks when you're done and put a little anti-freeze in the traps before you put it away again. If a little water freezes in the tanks it won't hurt as there is plenty of room to expand. Been doing it this way for years as we head South in the Winter.
After we winterize, we still go camping multiple times, generally its above freezing, so we bring containers of water to use to flush, heat on the stove to wash dishes and ourselves as needed. Then dump and add new AF to the drains if they have been used....
