Can I bypass the WaterPur filter?

I have a Rockwood a frame camper, with water in a small sink, only. The case for the water filter has cracked and leaks badly. I don't need filtered water to wash my hands. I wondered if you know how to straight plumb the hose?

Unhook the water lines from each side of the filter head.
Pull easy like until you can hook the ends together with one of these.

Lowes, Home depot or a local hardware store should have it.

If there is not enough slack buy two and a 3-4 inch threaded nipple hook it all together tight so it does not leak thread sealing tape will work.

X2 removed my filter housing last year, fittings cost me less than a dollar at Home Hardware. Removing the filter housing sure makes winterizing a lot easier, since the filter and housing are in the worst place to get at and replace.

I've contemplated doing that to get more room down there. Are you planning on using (or do you already use) an in-line filter on your fresh water hose (outside), or do you just not care? I'm not sure that it really makes all the much difference (I lived in Florida for 17 years - nobody's water tastes bad after that) but I'd be interested in other opinions.

I'm very picky about the water that I drink... To the point that I bring all my water in steel water bottles. I only use the sink to wash my hands, etc. so I'm not too concerned about the campground water supply. Therefore, I just want to eliminate the filter.
I've had a number of campers, and this filter on the kitchen sink is new... So I think I'll be find without it...
Plus I get more cabinet space...

We carry 5 gals of home tap water, and bottled water for drinking and coffee. I find campground water too chlorinated, ok for washing and showering, but not good for consumption.

I removed the filter and use an in line from the hook up. Easy to use and I know have storage under the sink. Also no leaks
