carbon monoxide sensor

Last weekend , setup the popup to clean and grease for the up coming summer . Had to charge up the battery. the secound day when i got up to close everthing up . found the C.M. sensor was on so checked everthing and made sure the tank was turned off. had to pull out the breaker to get it to stop.
today ( three days later ) the sensor was on again!. could this be to the battery going down? ....... and I want to thank everbody for the ideas on how to fix my tail light , got it working 8-)....

It could be the battery. It also could be the sensor. We had one go bad after about 5 years. If you have a meter, you can check your battery when the sensor is going off.

Leaving a battery dead for 3 months could ruin it. I would have it removed to a shop that can do the right tests on it.

Our sensor on our Cherokee 27L went bad after about 3 years, similar symptoms as yours.
