Thumbs up

LA's Totally Awesome is the bomb for removing those black streaks and better yet you can get it for $1 at the Dollar Store. One bottle lasts forever. Just be sure to rinse it down once complete to remove the residue.

When I bought my 1997 MH 5 years ago it had some heavy black streaks. In MS with 60" of rain per year the streaks are actually black mold, not black from the rubber roof. I tried CLR and Clorox brands mold/mildew remover which did nothing. Paste wax and polishing compound had to be buffed so hard I was afraid of damaging the gelcoat.

Your results may vary but what worked for me is Walmart's Great Value Mold and Mildew Remover. I worked in 6' sections, sprayed it on, waited 15 minutes, and most of the black was gone already. Then just one light swish with my car wash brush took it all off. I then immediately sprayed on Blue Coral Wash and Wax undiluted to keep from damaging the gelcoat since the mold remover contains bleach. For the past 5 years I use Blue Coral twice a year, hose it off, then the RV still shines like new. It is always stored outside and the black streaks now wash off easily so I've never needed to use the mold/mildew remover again.
