completely new at this

I purchased a 2016 Wildwood RLSS and before I take it off the lot what should I ask be done or added to it for boondocking. I might be living in it full time for a while and I'm not sure where. This is my first time out so I want to make sure I get done as much as I can before I move it somewhere. Any tips appreciated.

Make sure that you have good batteries.
Guy we bought our unit from let the batteries get low on distilled water. A killer of long life every time.

As a minimum:
2nd identical battery
generator
Battery selector and on/off switch if you don't already have one.
Spare water-I take qty 3 to 5 seven water gallon containers from Wal-mart. I thread a garden hose quick release with an inline garden hose on-off valve to gravity feed the water into the fresh tank.
Shower head with on-off switch
2 propane tanks since you'll be running fridge on propane entire time.

Not sure where you will be boondocking, but if you tow it off road, you should seriously consider reinforcing the water tank supports for grey, black, and fresh tanks.

Sounds like you might be in the same place for some time. If so, you'll probably want to get a wheeled waste tank so you can drain your tanks without having to break camp and tow the TT to the dump station. There are various models and sizes made by Barker, Thetford, and others. Here's a link to a Thetford:

Thetford SmartTote2 LX 4-Wheel Portable Waste Tank, 35 Gallon - Thetford 40519 - Holding Tanks - Camping World

Maybe you can talk the dealer into throwing one in for "free."

We mainly dry camp, so we're setup for it.

Honda 2000i generator
2 12v deep cycle batteries
400w inverter wired directly to batteries
6 gallon FW jug from Walmart
15 gallon blue tote tank for gray water
Oxygenics showerhead
Spare propane tank
Battery disconnect switch
