Cribbing - 6x6 or concrete blocks

Well, there's a chill in the air, and there's only 6 weeks or so of camping season left. So I'm thinking - we have a new 5er with the 6 point leveling system. Directions say to clean/lube frequently. Gonna be difficult to do while in winter storage (several miles from home). So I thought I would use enough cribbing to keep the front hydraulic cylinders retracted as much as possible. What would you all recommend: 8x8x16 concrete blocks stacked (changing direction with each course as required) with a 2x piece of wood on top, or a bunch of 6x6 pressure treated lumber in a traditional cribbing formation?

Flipped our axles a couple of years ago and used all the above. Had leftover high density concrete blocks on the bottom, the softer wood on that (actually had some rot on top) conformed beautifully to the shape of the frame and shored up the rest with Jack stands. Whatever method used, I would suggest some wood (2x4s or the like) as a go between the frame and the hard stuff.

Cinder blocks are, well, made out of cinders. Myself I wouldn't use more than one of them on each stack. If you could get a RR tie to reach all the way across then crib up from there with wood should work better.
