So now the cat is out of the bag as to why we are always looking for ways to "stabilize" our rigs..!..lol.. tire chocks, x chocks, multi stab Jack's, strong arms, jack stands.......errrr....u remember the pocket door hasp honey?...LOL

Rocking the trailer was our major concern also, not the door. Our "kids" are now 22 and 23 but they camped with us from the time they were born. When they were very young the rockin' didn't really matter. When they got to the age of 9 or 10 we just refrained. Kids are smarter than we give them credit for, they would figure what was going on.

Our friend has a 13 or 14 year old daughter who started asking what the shaking was. "It was the wind"or "the dog was scratching" only worked for so long- their kids finally got the boot and sleep in a tent now.

My real issue is that we're planning a longer trip and for 3 weeks of it, my mother-in-law will be with us. Worse yet, she's a late owl- often staying up way past us. There's no amount of cute excuses that will work...

I have a feeling he "chore" will be doing the laundry.
