Does anyone make RUBBER bumper end caps?

It seems that the Camco bumper caps are no longer available in rubber. The plastic one now are a pain, they have to pounded in with mallet and are hard to get back out of the bumper.

I looked on Amazon and saw some that claim to be rubber but I hate to find they are really plastic.

Hi,

I gave up on the caps long ago.

Instead, I drilled two vertically aligned holes about an inch in from each end of the bumper. Found two aluminum tent pegs a few inches longer than the bumper is thick, straightened them a bit into a kind of "L", and dropped them in the holes. A nice barrier to the hose slipping out either end, which also allows ventilation and drying for the hose.

My two cents...

You went "top drawer". I did the same on my 95 Terry. Drilled the holes but used a couple of 1/4" bolts from Home Depot. Gravity held them in place and I suppose if I wanted more security I could have drilled them for hitch pin clips. If one is afraid of their hose being stolen they make a long shackle padlock that will fit the 4" tube with room to spare. Just drill the holes accordingly to fit the shackle.

I drilled holes thru the bumper & end caps and used driveway reflectors to secure them. Click image for larger version

There was a guy on ebay that was selling a aluminum hinged door for the bumpers.

The magnetic caps work great and connect to your sewer hose so you don't have to go fishing for the hose and they are cheap.
