Double bunks and kid who hits off his wall at night

I have an 8 y/o boy who seemingly likes to attack his wall by his bed at night. Not in a violent attack, but just a kick here and there. In our new TT, we have double bunks, so he has about the same amount of room that he has on his regular bed in his room at home. The concern is that I don't want to have him hitting off the wall constantly in the TT. I know I shouldn't block the window, so that is out...but I was thinking of getting some foam blocks about a foot tall by a few feet each and putting them on the non-window (bathroom wall) side. This is an attempt to minimize the noise. Thoughts?

What about putting a baby bumper from a crib set up along the walls?

That's an idea, but most of those you have to tie to the rails. I don't think I have anything to tie one of those to. But I'll check.

Glad to help.
Enjoy that new baby, my oldest just graduated high school on Thursday. Time goes by so fast.

If you don't want something as biogas the body pillows, buy stick on Velcro and Velcro the bumpers to the walls but you can just lean them against the wall or partially tuck them in between the matress and walls.

I've ordered custom cut foam from Foam Factory a few times now. Cheap and quick.
